Green Read

Green Read

Main motivation of our project is to guide young people, YECs, VETS, TVETs and HE institutions to develop a successful career readiness path that would contribute to green career development of the primary target group. The Green Read project is designed to provide new advice to young people, their schools, employers and other stakeholders on how to best prepare young people to compete in the Green and Ecological labor market. Young people today have never left education more ambitious and highly qualified, but even before the pandemic many struggled to find good work. The COVID-19 crisis has made it still more urgent for us to help young people prosper as they move through education and into the labor market in the age of green developments.

The Green Read project provides a “Green Skill Response Strategies for Jobs Career Readiness Report” that reviews existing studies of partners’ national longitudinal datasets, undertakes new analysis and demonstrates how YECs, VETS, TVETs and HE institutions are preparing the young people to the green jobs career regarding skills training responses in environmental strategies and programme for young people in YECs, VETS, TVETs and HE institutions and exploring their potential responses to environmentally-driven skills requirements for young people in YECs, VETS, TVETs and HE institutions.
